Service terms

AskMe lets authorized users create and operate AI-assisted Profiles using content they provide or connect. Users remain responsible for their content, instructions, invitations, publication choices, and compliance with law. AskMe receives only the limited rights needed to host, transform, index, retrieve, and present that content to provide and secure the service.

The service may change during beta and may be suspended to protect customers, other people, or the platform. Warranty disclaimers, liability limits, governing law, dispute terms, business identity, and regional consumer rights require qualified legal approval before these terms can become effective.

Acceptable use

Do not use AskMe to violate law or another person’s rights; impersonate or deceive; facilitate violence, exploitation, harassment, fraud, malware, credential theft, or illegal discrimination; upload content without authority; defeat access controls; scrape or overload the service; or make high-impact decisions without appropriate human review.

  • Do not publish private, confidential, biometric, health, financial, or children’s information without a valid basis and appropriate consent.
  • Do not present generated responses as guaranteed facts or professional medical, legal, financial, safety, or employment advice.
  • AskMe may restrict content or access while investigating a credible abuse, security, or rights report.

AI limitations

AI responses can be incomplete, outdated, biased, or wrong even when they sound confident. Source-grounding and citations reduce risk but do not guarantee accuracy. Users must review important outputs and independently verify decisions with material legal, medical, financial, safety, reputational, or employment consequences. A Profile speaks through generated software; it is not the person, organization, or professional it represents.

Billing, cancellation, and refunds

Displayed pricing, credits, renewal cadence, taxes, and any trial terms are shown before purchase. A customer can manage or cancel an eligible paid subscription through the billing portal. Cancellation is scheduled for the end of the current paid period unless law or an explicit offer requires otherwise; Profile content is preserved but paid capabilities may become restricted. A deletion request also schedules cancellation and starts the separate 30-day content-recovery window.

The final refund policy, trial conversion language, tax treatment, sponsored-payment allocation, chargeback process, and consumer cancellation exceptions require counsel and finance approval. Nothing in this draft limits non-waivable statutory rights.

Voice and biometric consent

Only upload or clone a voice when you have documented authority from the speaker and when local law permits it. Clearly disclose synthetic voice use to listeners where required. Do not create deceptive impersonations or use voice features for fraud, harassment, political deception, or high-impact authentication. Generated voices and samples are included in Profile deletion cleanup; limited provider/security evidence may follow the stated retention exceptions.

Accounts, Profiles, and Brands

An account may manage multiple Profiles. Deleting one Profile does not delete unrelated Profiles or the account; deleting the account includes Profiles the user owns and removes collaboration access elsewhere. Brand-hosted public pages retain the Brand’s identity, support, legal, and privacy routing. AskMe application, account, and billing surfaces remain platform-controlled.

Notices and support

Use the support channel for account, billing, privacy, rights, infringement, or abuse notices. A legally sufficient notice address, contracting entity, effective date, and jurisdiction-specific disclosures must be supplied during qualified review before production activation.
